Birds for all flying animals, cats for cheetah, tiger, lynx, etc. and reptiles for crocodiles, snakes and turtles. Those are just their group names, then names becomes more specific depending of the species of the animal. We have also given names to plants and just like animal names, plant names are grouped into shrubs, trees, etc and then each plant is given a specific name depensing on their species.

Names are given to just about everything. Businesses are given names to differentiate them from one another and for branding purposes. Movies have different names which helps people remember them and sometimes movie names are a summery of what the movie is about. Names are given to cars, some car names have pretigious attachments to them such as BMW, Merc, Porsche, etc. Streets are given names to help us find our way around a place and to ensure that our letters gets to the right letter box.
